Welcome to "Holy Batter"! We are a Toronto-based Italian water ice business founded in 2022 by a passionate black female owner, Dae. Inspired by fond childhood memories spent with her late grandfather, who introduced her to the joy of Italian water ice, Dae embarked on a heartfelt mission to bring this beloved Philadelphia treat to Canada.

Dae's summers were spent with her beloved grandfather, who was originally from Philadelphia and introduced her to the world of Italian water ice. She fondly remembers the excitement of visiting her grandfathers connivence store, where she would be treated to the refreshing and delicious flavours of this frozen delight. Those memories stayed with her throughout her life, and she knew she had to share the joy of Italian water ice with her community in the GTA.

At "Holy Batter", we take pride in crafting authentic Italian water ice that pays homage to Dae’s cherished memories and her grandfather's legacy. Using traditional recipes and techniques, we create our Italian water ice in small batches to ensure the utmost quality and flavour. Our menu features a variety of flavours that are made with real fruit and carefully selected ingredients, including classic favorites like mango, cherry, and blue raspberry.

"Holy Batter" is more than just a business; it's a labor of love. Dae pours her heart and soul into every scoop of Italian water ice, aiming to create a memorable experience for every customer.
